Before requesting an extension please consider what steps you need to take should your application be refused. Extensions are only approved where you are able to provide evidence of the circumstances that are preventing you from making payment in accordance with the University's Terms and Conditions. Please provide as much detail as possible and attach any supporting evidence to corroborate your request. Failure to do this will result in the application being rejected.

The University has strict guidelines for payment of fees and approval for payment outside the normal timescales is only approved in exceptional circumstances. We will contact you with a decision within 2 weeks of receipt of this application.

Until you receive confirmation that your proposal has been approved, you remain subject to the University's standard Terms and Conditions for payment of tuition fees.
A proposal to delay full or partial payment of an instalment or full fee for any considerable time will not be approved
If an extension for payment is approved but subsequently defaulted on the University will impose the standard procedures for collection of fees, and no further special arrangement will be considered
International students (Tier 4 Visa): ): Prior to obtaining a visa and enrolling on a course at the University, evidence of your ability to pay both tuition fees and living costs is required in accordance with the government's immigration rules. Where you are withdrawn from the University as a result of your failure to pay your tuition fees the University must report your withdrawal to UKVI and our sponsor agreement to study in the UK will be terminated
