I have a CE grade - what does this mean?

For students currently enrolled in 2016/17

A CE means that you are eligible for a compensated pass, but you also have a reassessment opportunity. This is because you have had extenuating circumstances and your request to repeat an assessment attempt was accepted in the module at some point during your studies.

You need to decide whether you would like to accept the compensation and complete the level of study, or complete reassessment during the next academic year. This may mean extending your studies or completing the work alongside the next level of study.

For further guidance please refer to the Compensation or Reassessment guidance notes and proforma. Once you have made your decision please complete the proforma and return it to your Faculty Helpdesk within ten days of the date that your results became final.
