The Food and Drink Federation, representing food and drink manufacturers, will be awarding bursaries of £3000 to eligible full-time students who will be starting either the BEng or the MEng Food Engineering degree at Sheffield Hallam University in September 2017.
To be considered for the Food & Drink Federation Bursary you must:
have been accepted onto the full-time undergraduate BEng or the MEng Food Engineering degree (September 2017 entry) by Sheffield Hallam University
ordinarily be a resident in the UK 'home' status students
be classified as Home status for fee purposes and liable to pay the University's 2017/18 tuition fee of £9,250*
*This excludes students for whom sponsoring organisations are paying the tuition fee of £9,250.
How to apply
There is no need to apply for the bursary - the University will contact you personally if you are eligible. Successful students will be required to confirm acceptance of the award and its terms and conditions at induction. You will then be asked to complete and return a bursary form to Hallam Help.
The bursary will be paid in instalments throughout the 3 years of the course - Y1 (£1500), Y2 (£1000) and Y3 (£500). In Y1 & Y2 the payments will be in 2 equal parts (early November and the end of March) in Y3 in 1 payment (around placement).
