UK Engagement Survey

UKES graphic The UK Engagement survey (UKES) is a national survey for undergraduate students, facilitated by Advance HE. Please note: if you have been invited to complete the National Student Survey (NSS), you will not be part of this survey.

The survey allow us to collect feedback on the experiences of our undergraduate students in an anonymous and user-friendly way. The data is confidential to Sheffield Hallam and is used by staff and students to improve the student learning experience.

UKES 2019 is now open.

The survey is administered by the Student Engagement, Evaluation and Research directorate on behalf of the University. There are a number of questions relating to areas such as:

  • Teaching and learning
  • Assessment and feedback
  • Taking responsibility for your learning
  • Skills development
  • Being part of a learning community

Eligible students will receive an email with a personalised link to the survey. Alternatively you can complete the survey via the pop-up prompt when you log into a University PC, or you can visit https://shu.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/ukes-2019 directly.
