UK Engagement Survey
The UK Engagement survey (UKES) is a national survey for first and second year undergraduate students (Levels 4 and 5), facilitated by the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
The surveys allow us to collect feedback on the experiences of our undergraduate students in an anonymous and user-friendly way. The data is confidential to Sheffield Hallam and is used by staff and students to improve the student learning experience.
In 2017 the survey will run from 3rd April to 16th June and all eligible students will receive an email with a personalised link to the survey. Alternatively you can complete the survey via the pop up prompt when you log into your student account.
The survey is administered by the Student Engagement, Evaluation and Research directorate on behalf of the University. There are a number of questions relating to areas such as:
- Teaching and learning
- Assessment and feedback
- Taking responsibility for your learning
- Skills development
- Being part of a learning community
